The White Sturgeon like any other water bourn creature swims as its form of locomotion. This is an extremely simple process for this creature because of its extremely aerodynamic form and its extremely muscular tail. The Sturgeon swims by moving its thick and powerful tail side to side, propelling itself forward with and extreme amount of force and pace. A strong tail doesn't carry all of the weight for the sturgeon though, the presence of pelvic and pectoral fins give sturgeon the lift needed to move up and down throughout the water. The pelvic and pectoral fins are very similar to the wings of planes in how they provide lift for the creature. With a powerful tail, lift provided by two sets of fins, and an extremely aerodynamic body the white sturgeon moves very well through the water and is able to move well enough the survive in the world which is becoming very hard on this species.
